A timeless American icon, reimagined through an Italian lens.
For this special project, Yuketen founder Yuki Matsuda brought one of the brand’s most beloved silhouettes, the Blucher moccasin, to a historic factory in the foothills of Mount Sibillini, where skilled Italian artisans applied traditional moccasin construction with unmistakable finesse.
Crafted with an elongated profile and wrapped in Horween leather using Yuketen’s own famed pattern, the shoe offers a close fit. The insole, built from full vegetable-tanned leather, features a steel shank, memory foam, and arch support—shaping gradually to the foot for lasting comfort.
Finished with a removable leather ‘kiltie’, pinked details, metal eyelets, and strong cowhide laces, the upper rests on a robust camp sole made of rubber blended with cork, in homage to 1960s work boots.
